I always wondered why brand name Tylenol/Advil cold medicine cost $10 per package, while generic acetaminophen pills (which is what those cold syrups are made of) cost just $10 for a bottle of 200 pills.
$10 for 20 doses of cold medicine, or $10 for 100 doses? Once I figured this out I felt so ripped off.
