Fuck yeah. Keep snowballing this
Oh fuck yeah, love it! You know off the very start home depot was one of the only places to tell their employees to not approach someone not wearing a mask and ask them to wear one or leave. So that is the only hardware store I go to anymore. Honestly, they hire really good people anyways! Thanks for sharing, love these stories!!!
Menards is local to me but I was shocked to find out that they were so "woke." Their clientele is very rural.
I will keep this in mind!
Lowes has been the same way. And their employees aren't total tards like HD.
I find the opposite to be true, our lowes has terrible customer service and they typically have no idea what is going on. HD on the other hand have great employees! I guess its just about location.
How funny. Must be.
I haven't worm a mask in many months and a few days ago I was visiting south Texas and walked into A stripes gas station. The clerk made me leave because I wouldn't wear a mask. I told her that I have a medical condition and she said that she didn't care. They should take our the handicap parking spots and wheel chair ramps.
Bring cash and a calculator to stores.
Anyone acts like an officious asshole, yet you still want their stuff, proceed to shop, gather items, leave cash on counter, and walk out. You'll be gone before the cops get there, and you paid so you broke no law.
I thought about grabbing a mask and just getting a bunch of items and leaving them at the counter then walking out. I sent an email to the company. I don't expect anything to change.
Home depot hasn't been enforcing masks for months.
Just off the top of my completely bare head...

I have successfully shopped at all these multiple times, always freeface. Only one CVS threw me out. The other one didn't.
Three Big Lies have been pushed HARD on Americans to get them over the logical barriers to masking:
1. Masks, even random cloth ones, bandanas, or wide-open plastic shields, block transmission of airborne viruses. Even though it says right on the box that they don't.
2. BUT! They only block viruses in ONE direction and at ONE speed!
Try to follow this left-wing logic:
They can't block any SLOW-moving virus particles floating in the air TOWARD the wearer; only FAST-moving ones coming FROM the wearer! So, wearing your own mask does NOTHING to protect you, yet it magically protects every other person on the planet. Just not you.
This we call "science." We know it's absolute nonsense. Just believe it anyway. And act on it, or else massive social shaming, you murderous bigot.
3. Healthy people without symptoms are spreading the virus to others!
4. Gathering in large numbers to enjoy life is a "superspreader event." Gathering in large numbers to riot magically prevents viral transmission.
All four are utterly preposterous lies.
There is no scientific literature proving masks block viral transmission.
Cloth has no way of knowing what direction viruses are traveling.
Not one single case of transmission of the virus by a healthy, asymptomatic person has ever been documented.
And viruses have no way to know whether you're rioting, or yelling at a sporting event or Trump rally. ;)
nice
Slowly but surely
Corporate isn’t waking up, they’re still the same mask nazis. But the people, the people that work for these companies have had enough.
I hope they wake up more, because the business model for chasing away consumer dollars does not have any economic legs at all.. i.e. "get woke, go broke....
I’ve never worn a mask for the international Virus Scam in the beginning the people at the door would offer a mask, I’d just say no thanks and keep moving.
Home depot hasn't ever enforced masks in my area. To many contractors never bothered with them.
LOL they may insist, but so do I—on not wearing it. Now what? If they want to get strong and use the "private business" thing, I get to leave but also wonder why that doesn't work if I have leg braces and crutches, and they don't happen to like cripples in their stores hobbling around like that. In fact I can't think of one other non-contagious health condition that you're allowed to discriminate against customers for having.
I have, as we all have, a health condition that precludes wearing germ-laden moist cloth over my nose and mouth. We have a "health" condition. A condition called "health." That condition, health, would be adversely affected if we wore a mask. So we don't.
This is pretty simple stuff, folks. Start informing Bridget at the door that you have a health condition and won't be wearing the mask, because doctors said not to wear it. Once they start hearing that 20 or 30 times per day, what do you think will eventually happen? This isn't rocket surgery.
They use a health excuse to force the mask. I use a health excuse to NEVER, EVER wear one. EVER.
They didn't insist
Home Depot’s in columbus ohio still nazis about it. That’s still great news to hear that some aren’t as strict as others. I can’t speak for all Home Depot in the area but I know mine is dumb and even the cashiers enforce it when you check out. Still be prepared for confrontation about not wearing one. I see my fellow employees at the grocery store on lunch breaks and it’s awkward since I do t shop with one at the grocery store and wear one at work lol
Just look them right in the eye, do not break gaze, and say "Doctors said not to wear it because I have a condition. So thanks anyway." DARE them to challenge you on your health condition. They won't.
Note, the key is to have the courage of your convictions to glare and stare at them until THEY look away first. Trust me, they will. Guaranteed. Then you've won the psychological battle. Fight like hell the urge to look away first. Make THEM do it.
Most will smile—I guess, since we can't see each other smile any more—cheerfully and wave you right on in, desiring no confrontation with a customer.
Ohio will be the last state to ditch the face diaper! General DeWeasel weaponized the BWC, and the business owners are petrified of loosing their workman's comp insurance. I'm from Sandusky, and I predict a complete zoo once Cedar Point opens.
I went to my local HD yesterday, instead of the little 8 inch by 11 inch paper sign on the door saying to mask now there is a full blown 4 Foot by 8 Foot one when you walk in that also adds “even if you are vaccinated”.
state?
NH
Home Depot has always been fairly lenient, Menards on th eother hands are a bunch of fucking NAZIS about it.
You literally get harrassed if it pops down under your nose. Bunch of faggots they are.
Driving away business so bad that they keep having to extend the 11% off sale. Pretty much been non stop the entire year.
I believe that Johnnie is a germaphobe.
Johnnie?
John Menard the founder/owner, of Menard Inc. Look him up, he's a real piece of work. There are a few articles, out there about Johnnie and his business practices.
Ahh ok
At my local store two of the staff don't wear masks. The tide is turning.
Mask??? Is there a Masquerade Party somewhere?? I better find a costume
