That was never a real thing. The law that some people thought meant that previous president retained control of the military for 60 days didn't actually say that. All it did was provide funding from the GAO to the previous president to set up a post presidency office. The act doesn't say a single word about the military. I know people are unhappy with the current situation, but we have to live in the real world. It does us no good to entertain these fantasies.

No. But none of us seems to know exact facts. So all we can do is speculate.

No one knows

This is the most enduring myth I have seen. The EO said no such thing. yes, the military is in control, but not because of that EO, but because of many other EOa that outline what to do when there is treasonous election fraud with foreign interference etc. But somehow this legend keeps recirculating.

So the 60 day deadline has no relevance as far as military devolution is concerned. That will keep going for as long as they need it.

If there was a new administration. It is all a show.
