I've always thought Melania had a much bigger hand in the admin than was let on. She's supposedly really intelligent and confident. Walking around silently in the background doesn't mesh with that.

My wife is brilliant. She stays in the shadows and watches people to figure them out.
Depends on the person. Some highly intelligent people prefer to be in the background and not draw any unwanted or unneeded attention for various reasons. And Some prefer to display their intelligence for all to see.

A wise woman once said that while the man is the head of the family, the woman is the neck... Ensuring he's looking in the right directions, and gathering all the family needs. I believe Melania had/has a huge part to play, in the background, being support and guidance for DJT.
