That's nuts! I've had plantar fasciitis. You just need to stretch and rest. Tennis ball to the arch of your foot and some nice Achilles tendon stretches are key. Do that a few times a day and buy some good shoes with decent arch support and you'll be better in no time. There is no need for drugs!

Look up strassburg sock. Way more comfy than the splint.
its the shoes. it cuts off blood circulation. by wider toe shoes. most modern shoes today are more pointed in the front.

I have plantar fasciitis now in my right foot. Had it several years ago in my left.
I kill two birds with one stone. I freeze one of those small cans of tomato paste and use that to stretch my tendon. Works great.
