Noticed as well, odd IMHO. That's a massive error.
Intentional error.
Intention?
"Were operational"
As a military member, these things happen all of the time. We’re human too and the reading level of all of our stuff is supposed to be at an 8th grade level. I wouldn’t read much into this.
Of course, it is Air Force and they tend to have their shit together, so who knows?
Normally I would agree. I come from a military family, I'm aware of the diverse nature of the people engaged. However, if what we think is happening is happening (at a high level), I would think they'd be pretty cautious. With that said, I had a guy work for me from the Air Force. Said he worked on helo's. That truly worried me for our men in uniform. He was an idiot.
Something that a lot of people don’t recognize is that the military is just like any other big organization where you have a very diverse cross-section of people and you definitely get some duds. Also, putting on a uniform doesn’t make you magically not a POS.
I really love the Bojack Horseman episode, because it highlights the pedestal problem we have with praising anyone in uniform.
True that. I learned that lesson the hard way.
No way thats an error...
Truly a mistake worthy of AOC id unintentional...
Looks to be used interchangeably somehow?

Very odd
So this means AF are looking at becoming boots on the ground at some point, since this pattern is similar to infantry. This is a massive change from a spectator point of view.

Only thing I could think of is I think, not 100% sure on USAF clothing, that the OCP is what they wear on deployment/in potentially hostile AORs
Explain the significance, please?
I went through uniform changes while in the Army. The military as a whole has been hyper focused on uniforms for about 10 years now. Must be a coveted OER bullet.
Just a normal uniform change for the Airman that's s been in the works for a while. I went through many uniform changes while active duty.

DOD is now a dud.
