Same. I’m in NC. My girlfriend and I recently stopped at a cocktail lounge. We walked in and sat down immediately (no masks while sitting). Dude behind the bar starts yelling at some women walking to the bathroom without a mask. By the time the waitress got to our table, I politely told her we were leaving. Her mouth dropped. Like she couldn’t believe someone would refuse to play the mask game or maybe she really wanted the table, don’t know don’t care. I’ll never go back. They lost a customer for life.

It might be harder for people in small cities but if I were in a small city, I'd drive as far as an hour to shop to avoid shopping at certain places. It all has to start somewhere.
