I think so. I take C (2,000mg), D3 (10,000 IU) and zinc (100mg). If I feel a cold coming I increase my C. I took 8,000 mg yesterday which is 8 pills and could have taken 6 more before bed just to boost my system. Also drink lots of water. I realized I tend to get cold if I don’t drink enough water.
After a quick glance at some data, that looks good, probably better than others.
You just got to avoid raw zinc, because the majority will simply go right through your system and do nothing. A lot of multi-vitamins do this and while they do have what they claim in them, it isn't in a form healthy bacteria in your stomach and intestines can process.
Yeah I researched and found Picolinate is in a form easiest to assimilate by the body, so that's what I went with. I bought Pure Encapsulations brand because they add very few other ingredients aside from plant fiber fill and a vegetarian capsule along with Ascorbyl Palmitate which is a bioavailable form of Vitamin C (used in this case as a mild preservative).
I just recently started taking Zinc Picolinate (30 mg) tablets. Is this correct?
