Yes, I tried to talk some family members not to take it, and they wouldn't listen. I'm still trying to convince my sister not to get it, at least she is waiting and doing her own research on it. My husband had also tried to convince his mom and brother not to get the shots, but they did anyway. His mom probably wouldn't have gotten them but was pressured to by his brother (and his family), along with her wanting to travel to see us this summer. I pray they don't get real sick or die from the shots, we just lost my father in-law a few months ago (not to covid though). I miss my mom so much (she passed a few years ago) but at the same time glad she isn't here to see what's happening to our Country right now.
Exactly the same. I tried everything to stop my Mom from getting it. She didn't want it but my sister was relentless and she gave in just to shut her up. This worries me. I knew that this was going to happen.
My family used to think I was a conspiracy theorist, but after enough things I "predicted" using information I gathered here and other places started coming true, my mom finally started listening to me. I didn't really tell her anything so much as show her my sources and let her think for herself. She's not going to get the vaccine.
Wasn't so lucky with my dad. I showed him everything but it feels like it went in one ear and out the other when we talked about it. He watches so much god damn TV. I'm sure I was one of the lone dissident voices he was hearing and it was drowned out by the propaganda and the lies. In the end, getting the vaccine or not was always his choice, and one of my life mottos is "the only thing you can really control is yourself," but it doesn't make it any less sad. I will be praying every day for him and anyone else's loved ones who took the vaccine. May we enjoy more time with them than we anticipate.
One thing I'm greatful for is that none of our kids will get the shots, and that would mean my grandkids won't be getting them either if/when they bring them out for the kids.
We just have to give them the information and let them make their own choices. All we can do is pray they all stay safe & healthy.
I'm so sorry for your losses. My niece is a newly graduated nurse. She got it even though my sister didn't want her to get it. My mom's brother was extremely sick and was hospitalized back in January. He kept telling her she should get it. I kept telling her why it wasn't a good choice. We'll she got her first dose last week. I have many smart and wonderful coworkers and friends who got it.
I’m in the same boat. Almost whole family fell for this scam. Only advice, Stock up on vitamin D, quecurtin, zinc. Also, go on Frontline Doctors site and get Ivermectin. All help mitigate the cytokine storm for those who already were vaxxed. Prepare for those who didn’t listen and perhaps save their lives.
We all love people who got the vaccine, people who were scared, people who me we could not convince. This isn't happy news.
My parents being two of them..

The only hope is that all 3 major vaccines were either inert enough, or reversible... for people to save themselves.
I have been praying for that to be the case.
