It always has been a Muslim vrs Christianity battle, you must not know the oppression that goes on in the middle east, take Iraq for example before the US murdered Saddam Hussein Orthodoxy was relatively protected against the Islamic warlords who wanted to wipe it out. This made him a lot of enemies. Look at Egypt and the history of oppression the Church has had, particular the Coptic Orthodox.
Muslims are some of the most ultra conservative people. To me it’s a wonder how they have been accepted by the left. It will come back to bite them (the left) in the end. There are moderate Muslims so it is unwise to lump the moderates with the extremists. Everyone should be judged on an individual basis.
