I think it's highly possible an innocent patriot could be found guilty of crimes if the libs are in charge. That's why I don't support immediate execution.
Convictions can be overturned with newly provided evidence though.
Just because you were convicted doesn't mean you weren't actually innocent.
Death penalties are rough because it is a wholly final punishment, so it is integral that you get it absolutely right, otherwise you are just murdering someone.
