"My father passed away last night after a hard fought battle over the past 3 months with Melanoma.
Most people don’t know how tremendously difficult my first three months of Congress have been.
While I have endured the flaming arrows fired daily at me while I have been fighting against the left’s war on our freedoms in Congress, my soul was torn apart watching my Daddy suffer and slowly die with cancer.
We don’t win every battle we fight, but my amazing father won the war, and he taught me how to withstand the greatest enemy.
My Dad was the forgotten American man that President Trump worked so hard for.
My Dad grew up with very little, but with a faith in God and dreamed the Great American Dream.
He worked every job from riding a bike delivering newspapers, to factory work, to construction work, and all in between, while trying to go to school.
He was drafted at age 20 to go to war in Vietnam and served our country in the Navy. He lost friends there just like many did.
He met a girl after his service, when he went back to college, married my Mom, and had a little girl named Marjorie.
He couldn’t finish school, but proudly went to work to support his family.
With only a truck and a ladder, he tirelessly worked and eventually built a thriving construction company that put a roof over our heads, fed us, clothed us, and Dad provided our families every need.
My Dad had the strongest hands I’ve ever known.
They held me as a baby, carried me, swung me, threw me in the air, lifted me to ride on his shoulders..
They taught me to tie my shoes, ride a bike, throw, catch, and hit a ball, and fish..
They taught me how to drive a car, drive a boat, and sail a sailboat..
I watched his hands build amazing things with his tools..
Measure, snap a chalk line, cut, hammer all the nails in with one swing, climb the ladders, load the trucks..
I watched his hands write, calculate, and carefully bid projects on all the many blueprints..
They typed, wrote, and published books..
They created inventions and that even got nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize..
They took care of my mother and held her tight and loved her so..
But the greatest thing my father’s hands ever did was they taught me how to pray..
My Dad’s big strong hands put my tiny hands together when I was young and introduced me to God..
Last night, the Mighty Hands that formed and created my Dad’s hands, and the wonderful man that my father is, lifted him up and took him home to heaven.
Today we rejoice that his pain is gone and he has been set free!
Thank you all of you who support me.
Soon I will be back.
And this time, I’ll be all in because my heart is no longer broken now that my Daddy has been set free. ❤️"

Lord, please wrap our sister in Your loving arms, and wipe her tears. Amen ?
Dear Lord, we ask that You continue to watch over brave and righteous truth warrior Marjorie and keep her protected from those who wish her harm. We ask also that You comfort her and her loved ones during this time of grieving for the earthly loss of her beloved father, that You still her heart with peace and remind her spirit that the love shared with her father lives on as it will for eternity. We pray for Marjorie’s beloved father as he passes from this world to join You, Almighty Lord, in Your heavenly kingdom. Amen.
Lord, not only bless Marjorie and her family with the understanding and ease of knowing you are handling her Father's spirit now, but also please land a spark into the brains of those who would (inevitably) cheer this news on. Lord, we know and understand that there are many evil, black-hearted and soulless people out there who hang around on social media and salivate at the thought of any misfortune that may happen to Marjorie.
These people worship themselves and their egos, and put themselves before you, oh Lord. Please help as many as you can to see a better way, and please grace Marjorie's heart and mind with your caring embrace so that she may see a light within this period of darkness that taints the incredible life that you have blessed her with.
In your name I pray, AMEN
You made me cry with the most beautiful eulogy I have ever been privileged to read. Your father was wonderful and raised an amazing daughter. Keep working while carrying love in your heart for your Daddy, keeping his memory alive through your beliefs, actions, convictions and unwavering loyalty to his memory and his love for his family, COUNTRY and courageous daughter. I know he was immensely proud of you and knows you will continue to do what you know is right for Americans all across our Country. I send you my thoughts and prayers and wish you peace and May all your wonderful memories of your Daddy help you through all the wars and hard days ahead while trying to keep sane doing a great job in an insane workplace. I wish you well and hope I get to vote for you for President one day. ( I am 67 so please don’t take too long. Although I may be able to vote in death?!) God bless and keep you fighting the good fight!
I echo your words.
I know this loss all too well. It's tough to let go but with a battle like that they are in a better place in God's hands.
God bless her.
Praying for her and hers in their loss.
May God continue to bless Marjorie and her family. I know her Father is proud of the lessons she has learned from his love and guidance. She has the knowledge and grace from her Heavenly Father and her earthly Father. Both have gifted her with wisdom that has served her well.
Her glowing tribute touched my heart deeply and made me admire her all the more. Will continue to lift her family in prayer.
She is a warrior and a Patriot.
God bless MTG your dad is now free of the earthly pain. He will always be with you. He will watch from a better place and be proud of his little girl as she wields the sword of the lord. We here are all with you.
I feel like I knew him through your words. Beautiful tribute, Daughter.
That is an amazing eulogy, one of the most moving and heartfelt. This morning I pray that she and her whole family find peace and solace in you Lord and that the soul of the departed Rest In Peace and that they be protected from all evil.
Mrs. Greene, when you return from mourning the loss of your father, know that I and millions like me stand around you and are ready to kick some ass and take some names.
Can we clone you, Marjorie? At least maybe if what you have is infectious many more people can catch it! You are what all true Americans strive to be. My prayers are with you but you clearly don’t need them because you walk with God. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and soul. Carmen
Dear Marjorie, God Bless You and Your Whole Family including Dad. May he rest in peace in the eternity that is Heaven.
