I know a lot of information is available online to look at but I prefer some information from people instead of news that could be biased in favor or against something.
What are the state of things for everyone around America and the world? I'm sure people from other countries use this website.
Here in FL, life has never really changed aside from seeing people wearing masks. I go to stores without a mask, no one cares. I go out to eat without a mask and 95% of people are also not wearing masks. It does make me feel bad for the employees that are told to wear a mask or find another job.
I know Amazon is not popular to some because of Parler but Parler was never anything for us anyways. I happen to like Amazon prime movies, Amazon unlimited music, and the prime delivery. I also have Walmart deliver big packs of TP so I don't have to deal with it in a store, to a car, etc. Maybe it's a bit of laziness but I am getting older, not younger lol.
I bring up those because if I am home when something is delivered, they hand it right to me, usually without a mask, no 6ft bs, as if life has never changed. If I order a pizza, the delivery driver is the same way. I go into stores without a mask, all is normal. Many places have employees either without a mask on or with it pulled down under their chin.
I know that I don't know truly how bad it is for people living in more liberal areas so I assume there might be others that would not know truly how bad things have gotten. I was wanting to see what other people are having to go through.
When this mess is over with, and it will be one day, many of us will likely be helping each other kind of rebuild the world in a way. Not literally but I can imagine a lot is going to change.
I live in rural Missouri and, other than some people shopping with masks on (never mandated here), my life is the same as it was in 2019. My sister lives a few hours from me in another rural part of Missouri and she's pretty much had the same experience. She did comment the other day that she's seeing fewer people in masks, and in particular some previously hardcore maskers are no longer wearing them.
It's difficult for me to imagine what it's like in the hardcore blue areas, and I'm so thankful I don't have to experience that.
Congratulations on getting out and getting back to rural!
The biggest difference I've ever noticed between big and small cities is people seem to always be in a hurry in big cities. Here in Tampa, it seems like someone on a bike or on foot is always getting hit by a car, far more common than it should be.
I will be moving further south eventually though. I moved here from north FL a few years ago.
Here in Michigan it sucks. But I'm what they call a bitter clinger.
The problem with some of these things is that no one should have to move away from where they call home just because liberals are ruining their city but that seems to be more normal now days.
I refuse to leave. This is where I've made my home.
That's good because you shouldn't have to leave where you call home just because others screw up things nearby. This mess will not be ongoing forever, it will come to an end eventually.
One thing that has changed the most for me is spending less money. Once upon a time, my wife and I would walk around Walmart and shopping malls plus other stores. We would spend hours looking at things we didn't needed and ended up buying lots of shit that rarely ever got used.
We shop online more now and that allows the luxury of waiting days or weeks deciding on buying something or not. A lot of times I end up deciding I don't really need this or that and might not use it enough, that alone saves lots of money.
We always liked to walk, especially at the parks but in recent months we've started walking to nearby stores also. Walking is good exercise and good for health plus fresh air is always good.
I've recently spent time in both California and New Mexico although I'm now safely in a red area so I'll give it to you straight how it is in hardcore blue areas.
Everyone in a store is wearing a mask, no exceptions.. If you don't wear one while walking in you will likely be harassed by an employee and probably asked to leave. I would get away with pulling mine down while shopping. People actively avoid getting too physically close to people in public, there is no spontaneous conversation or interaction with strangers. Outdoors you will likely see at least half the people wearing masks at all times, in some areas basically everyone is wearing them outdoors. Also you will see a large amount of people wearing them while driving by themselves in their cars. Also seeing people wearing face shields is fairly common.
In California many businesses have been forcibly shut down off and on throughout the year. Everywhere you go there is plexiglass up to "protect" the workers, for example in gas stations. Everywhere you go there is constant propaganda about the virus, on billboards, signs at restaurants, on the radio, announcements at stores, etc.
The state of urban areas is in heavy decay, homeless are everywhere in California, even in suburban areas where it was basically unheard of a few years ago. It feels a lot like living in a third world country.
I see people wearing a mask in their car by themselves even here in FL. These people, I just don't know lol. How can people be that stupid or that afraid of something that has a very tiny chance of even hurting them?
My 1st 12 years of life was spent in GA then the past 30 years in FL so I never had to experience any extreme liberal things but I have read about and seen plenty video of.
Here in FL, life truly hasn't changed. I think they did a 2 week thing, my memory is not as good as it used to be but I remember as soon as that was over we went to eat at a restaurant and things were same as always side from the waitress having to wear a mask.
I do feel for those good Americans having to endure the liberal nazi type people.
I live in Maine. All public places mandate masks. People even wear them outdoors. At the ski area, the whole area had to wear masks, even outside. A lifty was using a bullhorn to tell people to wear masks. The stores have arrows on the floor so aisles are one way. I see people in cars wearing masks. Bars had to close at 10pm. Evidently Covid wears a watch. All out of state people coming this summer will be required to quarantine for 2 weeks again. Businesses will be required to operate at 50% capacity. Schools are part time. The conversations are “did you get the vaccine?” People act like they won the friggin lottery because they got the jab. Worst of all, a lot of towns closed the take it or leave it garage at the dump. It was fun to go to the dump and find free good stuff! City pools and gyms are still closed. A lot of businesses have closed, especially small ones. Most universities have remote learning. But, the state is now number one in brew pubs per capita. Yup, there’s that. I made a cloth mask out of this mesh with sequins. You can’t tell by it’s looks, but I can breathe easily with it. I call it my “masquerade “. I miss our Frenchmen LePage.
My wife and I have some mesh masks that are truly just for show but we never wear them. It's more of a type of thing if we're somewhere and need or want something and would rather not leave that we'd put it on long enough to get done but during this entire pandemic hoax we haven't had to luckily.
This covid shit is doing exactly what the DS and MSM wants. It's dividing people and causing conflict that should not be.
This was edifying and well needed. Something Light and encouraging to know that this isn't forever.
I live in Virginia and for the most part all our stores have a masks required sign. I wear it past the greeters and then I take it off. Walmart is usually not aggressive about it whereas Royal Farms is much harsher and we have a food lion in my town and I've yet to try taking my mask off there because I go to that store so infrequently. But I'm tempted to see how people respond if I use the medical condition thing. I actually do have one (nothing life threatening just a heart murmur from perforated heart valves which apparently a lot of people can have) so my conscience would be clear.
Overall the only place I feel the most mask pressure is from my boss. I work for social services and they are extremely progressive. Almost every week I get an email reminder from my medical insurance provider and my boss about vaccines and spreading the word about them like it's gospel.
So it's honestly hit or miss. The constitution was heavily influenced by private property rights so I have tried to be more peaceable regarding the masks but I even told my boss to her face that I think the masks are useless and I have research (I homebrew beer) that helped me prove, along with case studies from 2011, that to be fact. But I also told her out of respect for her ill follow her rules. I don't really have other job opportunities at the moment and most other jobs are even stricter than her. When I'm in certain offices with fellow co workers they don't gripe about the mask. And I never wear mine if someone comes into mine. Keeping my coffee in my hand let's me just take a sip whenever I get looks about not having it on.
But yeah, I wish I was bolder about not wearing them but so many people in Virginia are terrified. My own home got affected by covid and my dad still can't taste or smell... however he also takes chronic pain meds known for destroying smell and taste. It's very hit or miss. But he isn't dead. So praise the LORD in Jesus name for that.
I agree with you, we need to just stand firm and fight when and where we can and be there for everyone else.
God bless you in Jesus name, friend.
I can understand people wearing a mask in order to keep their job but in stores, people really should be more free because you are the consumer, the customer and well in old days the customer used to always be right but now days I don't think big stores care about customers at all.
I haven't seen a food lion in many years, thought they went out of business. Some people might not have the option to go to other stores but for me, there's seemingly endless amounts of stores all around so if a store ever said something to me about a mask I would have the luxury to stop shopping there but I know not everyone can.
I prefer small cities but the big cities have quite a bit of advantages. I do miss living out in the county, country living but I like living near the ocean more.
Yeah the problem is with small town is it feels like when propaganda hits the majority rule hits harder there. Especially if it's a liberal small town because small towns just wanna impress the big kids (cities) yet so few still know who we are xD. Just went to corner mart this morning without a mask to get gas and the lady literally walked away and refused to just give me my gas. I even mentioned a medical condition just for kicks and she still refused. And literally it's either there, rofo, or cheers. We have as country folk would say, "slim pickins'." So your empathy is appreciated. Most of us around here are outnumbered by the sleepy majority and I would happily take my money elsewhere but all our pickings are compromised so it's either disobey the mask and pray they don't get fussy. Otherwise we either comply or we don't get the good we need. My prayer for God to bless you in Jesus name still stands. Amen
It really doesn't feel like America anymore sometimes. People denying others the ability to shop while breathing in fresh air. It's all over a virus, if we even can call it a virus, with a 99.7% or something survival rate.
I fear the result of this is WHEN the coin flips, which it always does; those that were alienated by mask wearers will pass the same mask wearers by when they need services, goods, etc. In fact I saw a video on here already where people wearing masks were kicked out of a store.
I do believe that this mask thing has accomplished one thing for sure:
Some Americans are going to adopt as some already have the philosophy of my late popop when he didn't like someone.
"I wouldn't piss on them if they were on fire."
And what's the most tragic it will only be because of the nature of life which Jesus preached about,
Luke 6:37-38
37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:
38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
Maybe another reason why Q told us to be there for these people when they wake up... because our carnal minds would prefer to condemn and abandon them for the way they treated us. Which I think might actually be what the cabal wants, division. The cycle never ends until we break the mold by lending grace to these unruly folk who would, if given the chance, do the exact opposite and offer us up to the DS as an offering to live their lives as they were.
I'm a helpful person just not a tolerant person. If someone needed help and I could help I would but I still have zero tolerance for bs.
In a way it could be like how there will be a homeless person in the parking lot of a fast food restaurant asking for money or food, buy them a meal if they want it but give them no cash.
There will be no need to be mean to the craziest of liberals because, they'll eventually see how wrong they were.
I heard zinc help with taste loss
Thank you for the info, I'll be sure to share that with my pop.
God bless you in Jesus name too, friend.
Basically the same experiences as you, but try doing any home projects and you’ll see how much materials have risen in price. That’s where I’ve been “hurt” the most. Same with ammo prices and availability. Sucks for people who didn’t buy it cheap and stack it deep. I realize I still could have stacked deeper, but I’ll be alright. Hope one day soon we return to the days of plenty.
I left north FL a few years ago from having a house to renting here in south FL but that was the plan to rent until my wife and I can 100% decide on what city to settle down in long term as we're both against the cold weather lol.
Basically now days it's just living life, walking around the parks, enjoying nature and wildlife. Seeing the ducks, birds, squirrels, alligators, turtles, things that make this planet a nice place imo.
Bought all my reloading supplies last January when I saw the writing on the wall. Got as much as I can carry if need plus plenty more in factory loads.
I've seen some really fucked up videos and news from Canada. I remember one video of a teenager playing hockey outside, I think he was by himself, and he got arrested for that.
I've always wanted to visit Canada but just haven't gotten around to it, maybe because I'm in south FL, long ways away. It is sad that people are being treated the way they are in Canada but these criminals within government and police that support government over the citizens will pay a price one way or another.
If not by laws, if not by people taking action, karma will get them at some point and that can be very bad for some.
A few years ago, when my dad died, the parent's house was supposed to go to me but my sister found ways to go as far to try to have me arrested for nothing which obviously police didn't do anything about but I chose to leave and let her have it because it wasn't worth the trouble for me personally.
Since moving from there, a tree limb fell on her car. The well pump for their well quit costing a few thousand dollars. Her husband who played a part in screwing me over had an accident at his job and nearly lost an eye.
The county just so happened to notice the back yard was looking like a junk yard and threatened to condemn the place so that cost her more money cleaning up. She crashed a scooter and shattered her foot and will forever have to wear special shoes and walk with a limp.
More may have happened to her that I don't know about because I haven't spoken to her in about 6 months. My brother I still talk to but he stayed out of the mess, he didn't want any part of drama. Since then, my wife and I moved from north FL to south FL and life has been great so these people doing other wrong, karma will get them in some shape or form eventually.
I wouldn't go to Canada to see the cities, plenty of cities everywhere. I'd go to see the scenery, nature, etc but if that ever happens it won't be anytime soon. It does seem that FL is one of the few remaining places in the world that is still free.
The problem with moving to a different country right now is how bad the criminal government is handling this pandemic hoax. I don't know if the USA/Canadian border is still closed but it sure seems the Mexican border is wide open but good honest hard working Canadians wouldn't fit the demographic democrats want.
Democrats want illegals because they can literally bribe them for votes. I don't really have any family that I still speak to, way before the covid thing came around. So much drama from where I moved from, been keeping life simple as possible lately.
We habe saved so much money from not going to restaurants, we now have an excellent pantry build up full of supplies. Was able to conserve enough to be able to homeschool even with having a baby in March 2020.
All of the things I've been putting off getting out of my life have been so much easier to shed. Found some great new riding spots for the dirt bike due to no one being out during the lock down.
I live in Michigan.
That is one of the few good things about this pandemic hoax, saving money. My wife and I no longer go to stores to just look around and buy things we don't need. We've also started walking more which is good.
I wondered the same. I live in Florida. Worked from home prior to china virus, so working from home hasn’t bothered me. Other than bars closing for a few weeks, nothing has changed. My wife has never worn a mask. I’ll admit I have, but only for the first week or so. Everything is normal here and I am grateful for that. But I do see people still wearing masks, most of it is from out of town tourists. I’m grateful to live in such a free state, but I am also saddened for the people that do not, my family in IL included.
Side note, I highly recommend buying a bidet. They are $30 and anyone can hook it up in 5 minutes. Never have to worry about TP again.
I've become a true Patriot. I'm fully awake. The DS worst nightmare is manifesting itself more and more each day. We are resolute, righteous, deplorable rebels and will never submit to globalists. This is OUR country. I live in Lost Angeles and give dirty looks to all the face diaper mind wipes walking in the free air. "Our movement is about replacing a failed and corrupt political establishment with a new government controlled by you the American people" President Donald J. Trump 2017. If that isn't revolutionary, I don't know what is.
I believe the MSM is gradually going away which is one of the main problems we have with their propaganda. MSM ratings have gone down so much that it's only a matter of time before advertisers stop buying ad slots. We don't need to fight and kill to win at this, we can do a lot from sharing information and using the power of the wallet to stop supporting any company that is against us.
