From the sound of it, it doesn't look like an exotically powered craft - like anti gravity. Looks like some sort of jet. But I'm not a big aerospace guy...but where are the control surfaces? And how fast did it accelerate when the boost thing was hit? Is there a human pilot on the craft? Would monkey worx know this stuff? And why release this now? Does that halo kinda thing around it at start mean it was transitioning the sound barrier before it hit the speed boost?
The control surfaces are usually small, except for the vertical stabilizers on newer fighters, as they seem to be the entire thing. You also don't want to make any large or sudden maneuvers when going so fast as to break the sound barrier.
A "boost" on fighters is technically called the afterburner. it's been a long time and I've forgotten exactly how it works, but it increases acceleration to enable the previous generation of fighters to break the sound barrier. Test pilot Chuck Yeager broke the sound barrier in 1947.
