Honestly, I don't really think security matters at this point, as I believe patriots are in control, but I will say I do not trust discord.
Personally, I'd attempt something like this on an SSL encrypted IRC server, with additional encryption keys set for the gathering spot. Perhaps the Wire app, as it's easier to use than IRC, and has group chat much like discord.
Not to doom, but I know criminals don't trust discord. And criminals often unwittingly create solutions that can be applied to totalitarianism.

Thank you. Unfortunately I know nothing about all this so I just followed where I was led. I wouldnt mind having another option but dont know much about them. I will look up the wire. Your not the first the bring up there dislike for this. I will look into other ways just to create something for all. I do feel Gods hand in the discord server but I will keep my guard up. It's my honest belief you're being guided and have little, if nothing, to worry about in this regard.
In your case, it's better to just ACT than to worry over details. I wish you enormous success.
Just sharing best practices for all. Maybe someone else reads this and it helps them. I have a certain skill set God gave me, by hook or by crook, and He's compelling me to share.
