Can you confirm - Since one of the jurists has come forward and admitted that they ruled guilty because they didn't want to trigger riots, overturn on appeal is nearly guaranteed.
If yes, than OMG - Pedes arm up, the riots are going to go supernova!

Aspiring legal pede here. Regardless of the tainting of the verdict ( of course a proper court of appeals will regard it, but bear with me), the sentence is just impossible. You cannot be sentenced by 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree murder and the manslaughter of the same person.
It would imply that you planned to kill the person beforehand, wanted to kill the person only at the moment, acted with negligence on your duty, which caused the death (only thing Chauvin might be guilty of imo), and caused harm to the person, unintentionally causing death later on, all at the same time.
Any court that cares for the rule of law would laugh at this BS and kick Chauvin out of jail for mistrial.
This is what I was wondering about. Chauvin was found guilty of 3 crimes that caused Floyd's death. So, then, was he killed 3 times. I thought these charges would be either/or not all 3.
in a real world yes that would happen but we live in the world where the deep state tentacles lie in every part of the system and this may not get done before things change
The whole thing stinks. Why is the DOJ investigating Minneapolis' policing practices after the verdict if Chauvin committed murder? Did Waters and Biden say what they did publicly because they want it overturned because a guilty verdict won't deliver the results they needed?
It doesn't take a lawfag to know that the appeal will overturn the conviction. However, that's only IF the appeal is granted.
If that is in fact what happened, and the confession is provable, then a mistrial is guaranteed I think.
Will we ever know the true story? is a great question and the only one I can think of since Kennedy assassination is watergate and one could argue that one too. The government never discloses the truth voluntarily and journalism is dead. Hell, we are still waiting on the smollet case and that one should be easy. The cabal will always protect their bloodlines and the history books are being rewritten under our noses. If the truth was ever really told, we would be much less divided. Stepping off soapbox now
