After reading all the posts here about the wonders of Ivermectin, I decided to start taking it. I found a bottle from my local Tractor Supply, but didn't realize it was injectable until I got home.
The bottle says 1 ml per 110 pounds. This is the exact formula I came up with for the liquid form.
Can I take this in water like the liquid form? Thank you in advance for your responses. :-)
Return it and get the HORSE PASTE - apple flavor.
This! I have tried the horse paste years ago. Still kicking.
Like a bucking bronco?
Is the horse paste safe for human consumption? I'm considering taking it myself.
I'm told it is.
Thanks I was just curious of the dosage ?
Thank you very much. Until this year, I had never heard of this medicine. & I hardly ever take aspirin. You guys all seem to know 'where's it's at' so I respect the advice.
There is a big group from voat here. A lot of us have been reading medical articles on Covid, HCQ, and the like.
https://www.nih.gov is a great place to start. Search: HCQ, parasites, cancer, ivermectin, Fenbendazole, Sars.
TY!
No - everybody is recommending a medicine that it totally bad for humans... better stick with the "vaccine"...
Sarcasm?
Oh, you're a comedian.
I've heard good things about this.
Better question for your doctor. Don't go injecting things based on opinion.
No, I'm not doing the injection!
The main difference between injection and oral intake is the bioavailability, which means required dosage will be different. In addition, what you take it with and/or mix it with can cause changes in bioavailability or even changes in the molecules through chemistry.
If you want to inject it (I wouldn't) the dosage is probably fine. Mixing it and drinking it however would likely be too low of a dosage.
I think your best bet however is to get the horse paste. The dosage is 1/12th of the tube per 100 lbs. One tube will be enough for 5 doses for most people (which I think is the correct regime?).
Thank you! I think I'll take it back and order the paste.
No problem. I should note that 1/12th of tube per 100 lbs is the calculated amount. Ivermectin is very safe. Overdosing is not a concern (in the quantities we are talking about). So just do your best to get in that range. If you get a little too much (even double) you will be just fine.
I'm definately not 100lbs! LOL How often should I take the paste? Do you mix it in anything? Thanks.
I fairly certain its once a day for 5 days with food. That's from memory. I'm not sure where I remember seeing that.
Looking at the molecule I wouldn't mix it with anything acidic. Water should be fine, or food of some sort? I can handle pretty much any flavor so I just take stuff straight (though I haven't tried this).
Return it and get the paste TSC has pastes made in the US
I give the Ivomec injectable to my birds for worms orally. It is two to three drops to a 10 to 14 ounce bird. I also give it orally to my dogs at a rate of ten drops each. They are about fifty to sixty pounds.
The drug is relatively safe, but I would definitely find out the details before taking it. I think you can get a prescription through the frontline doctors online. If it were me I would go with them and the prescription for HCQ.
Frontline charges $90 for meds.
90 for the script. Plus the cost of meds.
Wow! :-(
That is dirt cheap when you think of going to a regular indoctor.
How do you weigh a bird?
You just put one of the small kitchen scales in the pen. They will usually climb up on fairly quickly. Bird are always looking to get on the most elevated perch they are provided.
The horse paste apple flavor is way better.
I took this for a skin condition a few years ago and it did work.
I use this on all of my animals and pull the dose and squirt in there feed as per the Vet. It is injectable for cows and many herd animals because unlike horses that you can get there mouth open and squirt the paste in and doing that on a cow that might rarely be handled will not happen so running them thru a squeeze shoot and sticking them is much easier. I do use it on my milk cow in her feed instead of sticking her. Reason....Horse people will pay more money for there stuff than ranchers so I only buy cattle wormer for all of my animals because it ends up being cheaper by the dose. I have talked to several other farm people and all concur if needed we will take a the injectable dose in some OJ. Not a Dr or vet just a farm girl.
Don't inject.
I'm an RN, and I wouldn't inject this! Lol
Did you research the side effects? You need to look it up yourself before you take it.
Side effects for Ivermectin are minimal to none in all forms.
Sources? Proof From the manufacture the medical studies on humans. I just went to briefly look and it took one minute and saw several side effects for humans. Nausea, vomiting, weakness, dizziness, etc. I asked for proof, sources. When you show yours I’ll show you my research.
I’m a retired registered nurse Ivermectin is prescribed to people in cases that the topical cream is ineffective for scabies.
what do you think of the horse paste for humans and would human dosage be same as for horse weights?
I know that. Doesn’t change the list of side effects. I just don’t think telling desperate people to take something without telling them the side effects is a good idea.
I'm not desperate.
It's prescribed for Covid and has been proven to work. Every med has side effects.
What was your experience like taking the Ivermectin apple paste? I have read that it has many benefits apart from treating Covid. Did you notice any other benefits after taking it?
I decided to keep both the injectible and the paste. I've tried both. Mixed the paste with some jam. Not too bad. I read Ivermectin works better with fat, so I mixed the injectible in a good quality olive oil. Took oil after the paste as well. No adverse side effects whatsoever. :-)
As far as benefits, I recently felt bronchitis coming on. Usually lasts 2-3 weeks. I did go to the doctor for a Z-pack of antibiotics and something for my cough. But I also did the Ivermectin for 5 days straight. Knocked it out in under a week.
I plan to take it once a month or so to boost my immune system. Thanjs for asking! :-)
Injectable is the best!
Horse paste may not be evenly mixed, as it is single dose.
I don't know how to tell you to get a syringe, but the dose is .10ml per 10lbs of body weight for the 1% liquid injectable.
More efficacious when cobsumed with fat (squirt onto bacon or cottage cheese) and much stronger with alcohol.
It is virtually flavorless and odorless. For COVID it might be taken once per week as prophylaxis. If exposed or feeling ill, you might take it once and then again within 24 hours.
It's very forgiving and hard to OD on.
And I'm an RN, so I have syringes in our home first aid kit.
Then you are good to go.
Thank you!
You are welcome! Stay well!
It's 1% injectable solution
That's it. I squirt it into food or drink.
Lordy do not take anything you get at tractor supply! Get the stuff from frontline doctors
They charge $90 for meds. It's the same thing. Been around for decades.
While I appreciate what Frontline Doctors are doing, that's a steep price for something I can get at a tenth the cost. JMO.
