My dentist just called me and try to coax me into the office. I asked if I had to wear a mask. She said 'Well just from the door to the chair'. I said 'No, thank you. I will not be a party to ushering in socialism or the tyrannical state.'
my dentist has me come in with no mask. I did the same thing said I wasn't coming if they required a mask. Hit them where it counts, money is what everyone understands.
This may be an unpopular opinion, but if you're in a liberal shit hole, please give some sympathy/wiggle room to your dentists. They may be a free-thinker trapped on all sides.
They are under immense pressure from patients to be vaccinated. They are sent expectations from the CDC, the American Dental Association, and state dental association. They statistically are largely confined to the 10 mile radius around them, and therefore have a practice of mixed political views.
My dentist says he lost a patient's family because she got a glimpse of him without a mask in his doctor's office, and then she posted it on the community facebook group.
He said he probably gets 20 outspoken brainwashed patients for every 1 slightly questioning patient, and only knows under 10 Q followers in his patient base. But again, this is liberal central. His goal is to be there to nudge any people in the right direction if they question the narrative, our government, the scandemic, etc.
At the end of the day, you have a right to support whomever you choose, so do you. But dentist practices are confined largely to the radius around them, and the ones in my area would go out of business if they had a "no mask" policy for the waiting room. Downvote me if you want, but I know my dentist is a good guy in a brainwashed city, who does good work, and I will continue to support him.
I play Magic and Warhammer 40K, and I have been driving a little further to stores I never would have played at before simply because they don't require masks. It's refreshing.
A year ago yesterday a restaurant near me opened early, it's technically located in one of the municipalities here so I guess didn't have to abide by that tyrannical judge Lina Hidalgo. He made nationwide news & caused a stir on twitter because he was "selfish" for opening before restaurants here got the go-ahead to creak open their doors just a little. It happened to be our 30th anniversary and we were tired of being locked up so we made reservations and went. Today that restaurant is constantly packed and none of the employees wear masks. About 2 weeks ago they opened their 3rd location. Based owner, fantastic food, superb service, oh and a prominently displayed bible verse above the bar.
I believe it. I posted months ago that a business right by my house was the only business open for dine in when everything else was shut down, it was packed all day every day, even more so after church on Sundays. Guess what its still packed every day now.

And look for a new dentist.

A dentist doesnt have to have a no mask policy, but if he forces me to wear a mask to walk 10 feet to the dental chair I will find a new dentist.
I have to admit, I'd make an effort to go to that store if it was in the area.

Besides, the Emperor protects, not masks.

That is a happily ever after story, it gives me the warm fuzzies. Wish a based restaurant like that was near me.
Lol, I love the last sentence in that interview, “the health authorities have proven themselves to be dumbasses”?

Based.
Man I'd love for any business here to take that stand.

I wish the interview continued instead of cutting off, that was fantastic! I would like to hear the rest of the interview.
