I'd presume that he either picked it up trying to stay hip with his grandkids, or has a millennial faggot in charge of his twitter account.
No, he does it to get around the character limit.
It's been stated multiple times why he does it. He wants max amount of info in the tweet.
It's pretty stupid for people to not immediately realize that.
The funny thing is he wasted 19 characters by typing out "intellectual property" instead of using "IP" like he did previously in the tweet.
He then could have spelled out : "to " (+2)
"manufacturing" (+10)
"with" (+3)
"before" (+4)
Intellectual Property was the whole impetus for the tweet though.
That was the main messaging. When you do marketing, you make sure your main message is clearly presenting. You make sure it's drummed in. It's your keyword.
He's marketing a message to people - that IP - intellectual property for people who don't know and to hammer it home again - is at stake. That's the key point for his message?
Why on earth would he waste time and characters on filler words when he's trying to get across INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY being the key term he wants to speak about?
You're correct. I believe you're only allowed 116 characters in a tweet.
