The Governor of Wyoming has banned vaccine passports, issuing a directive that states no person should be denied access to any places or services based on their vaccination status.
Republican Mark Gordon’s directive outlines that “Vaccine passport programs have the potential to politicize a decision that should not be politicized.”
“They would divide our citizens at a time when unity in fighting the virus is essential, and harm those who are medically unable to receive the vaccine,” Gordon noted.
Gordon also urged that getting a vaccine “is a personal choice based upon personal circumstances.”
I don't know this Gordon fellow, but he seems to have his wits about him.
I live in Wyoming. Hes a rino.
Most of Wyo hate him. Hes mostly followed the narritive when making decisions about Convid.
Pretty sure he wont be re elected.
Hey fren, I’m also in Wyoming. Yeah Gordon is a butthole. He’s mixed on everything.
I DID THAT... jk I did see him at the Grocery story with his wife, and approached him and told him that we need this action. That was about a week ago.
And today my employer revised their Covid travel policy. Previously only air, train or bus travel required a 2 week unpaid isolation period before returning to work. So we made reservations for a drive able beach trip. Now ALL travel outside the state requires it. ...UNLESS The employee is fully vaccinated. Such BS! I won't be forced to get the vaccine. And when I choose the unpaid time off my dept- already short handed- will suffer. Not me.
These are the sneaky ass games they're going to try to play. You can either sue your employer or find a new job. That level of sneaky manipulative bullshit is exactly akin to the same garbage the the Feds are pulling when they say "we won't dictate vaccine passports" when in politico-speak they're really saying
Why the hell do you even tell your employer where you're going on vacation?
True. It's none of their business. Just like the restaurants that make you sign in first with your name and phone number. Total BS. So are the answers I give them.
Lesson learned! I mentioned it in passing. Small talk really. Never again!
These days it's even more important to keep your personal life out of the workplace and to keep the number of interpersonal relationships with your co-workers to a minimum. Just take care of business.
Sad but true.
