Dublin is an ancient "Viking" (Scandi) settlement. The Norse Men have lived in Eire for centuries. And interbred with the Celts, to make the population we, today, call "Irish".
So much I don’t know! You are a font of knowledge my friend! Actually Dublin is one of the regions my dna results mentioned. Cork, Kerry, Donegal, Galway, Mayo, Westmeath, Tipperary, Kilkenny & Leitrim are the other regions in Ireland it mentions.
P.S. I can recommend "The Immortal Irishman". Please read it. It is outstanding. "How the Irish Became White" is also interesting, but not as entertaining as the first recco. The biggest enemy of the Irish has historically been the Irish. "Divide et Impera" was an idea taken by the English from the Romans to divide us and rule. A small minority of Anglo-Saxons took over the British Isles and "the rest is history". In a very real way what happened was worse than what happened to the Africans brought to the US as slaves, and to me often seems to be the blueprint for what these same people are doing to all of us in the USA, now.

Yes, "Black Irish", most likely. Dark hair, brown/hazel/grey eyes, or sometimes blue and rarely green.
I do have brown hair & hazel eyes (though now my hair is going grey, lol).
I am descended from druids.
And also I know how to play the odds.
;)

We are all Irish, now.
