Walmart 'associate' here. I want to make one thing very clear: corporate doesn't speak for us, we hate most of their asinine bullshit with the masks too. AMA.
This lifting of the mask requirement is supposedly 'only' if associates are vaccinated. Thing is, thanks to HIPAA, they cannot force us to tell them we are, or at the very least tell them the truth. As an overnight associate, I've only had the muzzle on when customers were in the store and the health department in our state could shut us down otherwise.
And, before I get the hate that I work for a corporate giant which is part of the 'cabal,' its called subversion. You need people on the inside.
I hope people don't hate Walmart store employees. They're just trying to get by like everyone else. It's the corporate executives who push this bullshit that deserve the anger.
I picked up a curbside order from Walmart a couple weeks ago & the guy that loaded my stuff handed me a piece of paper that said something about not needing an appointment now to get the covid vax. He said he didn’t care what I did with the paper but he had to hand them out. Then he said “Personally I’m not getting it.” I replied with “neither am I”. Then he went on to tell me about how based his church is & how people aren’t even aware of what’s going on. I told him I appreciated the conversation & to stay healthy. So I agree that people on the inside is a good thing.
