I agree that it’s taking spotlight off the real issues. But it’s Matt Gaetz who gave the enemy some ammo.

Everyone has weak points in their lives, and these weak points are exploited. Its hard enough to find good loyal people, try finding good loyal people with no weaknesses.

The article mentions that Greenburg is pleading down from 30 charges to 6 in exchange for testimony against Gaetz. That seems like a big enough reason to embellish stories about him to prosecutors.
