Big if true. Really though, pay attention to how Patrick worded it sounds like a positive development.

Not sure about that. "These people are stupid" and "pride goeth before a fall" would seem to apply in spades.
They were allowed to get away with steals and other obvious shenanigans in the 2018 mid-terms which likely led them to believe that they had installed the right complicit personnel and had developed solid ways to successfully cheat without being found out, challenged or being held accountable by their "deplorable" adversaries. So, going on their 2018 successes and epic levels of hubris, they enhanced and expanded those methodologies for 2020. They even ran the two most corrupt, manipulate-able, hated and despicable presidential and vice-presidential candidates without a real campaign and with a demonic, hate-filled national convention to rub everyone's face it.
IMHO, they never expected to lose the "real" election by such large margins and to have to cheat SO MUCH in 2020. It also seems that they believed they had an undefeatable, untrackable, multi-pronged election-rigging system. And, even if they were found out, they believed nothing would come of it because they had the legislative, executive and judicial branches under their control.
This makes a lot of sense. Explains so much.

I guess that could explain it. Trump won too bigly and they had to go all in on election night, hence the media going into overdrive to run such ludicrous interference in collusion with big tech.
