They cannot ask for vax proof because your healthcare information is confidential. They know that. And the vax cannot be forced because it is only currently permissible under an “emergency use” authorization which means the vax is still in the experimental stages while assessing all safety concerns. God wins!!!
They will make up another reason to fire you or lay you off. They will not say it is because you didn’t provide vaccination proof. Your safest bet is to just get a fake card; they aren’t going to scrutinize it.
Not a lawyer but I’d say you would have a strong case - if - they fire you make sure you have whoever is doing the firing put it in writing the reason why AND if they have an HR department get the head of HR to sign and verify the written reason.
Find a local workers compensation lawyer in your area and ask what they think first.
That is private health information.
