The school district I am in has a spectacular sped program and out all of the kids he is excelling. He is unmasked and has been. The other kids will be homeschooled if the district doesn’t change the policy but there are many parents who just b**** about things and don’t try to change it. I’m trying to help 3 individuals get elected to the BOE and now applied to be on an advisory committees. Parents need to get involved, I’m trying but you’re absolutely correct, we have to take care of our kids first and foremost. I can tell you most of us are doing the best we can.

They're missing out on real social engagement while still being fed lies.
Home schooling is way better and there is an infinite library of information on how to teach kids with special needs.
Today's teachers already try to do the least amount of work, and giving them the opportunity to do virtual is inherently exacerbatory
