People who are that evil will probably remain defiant to the end. I know the Bible tells us to love the sinner and hate the sin but I cannot. I get consolation from knowing hell awaits them.
You make a good point. That is what the Bible tells us to do. But do you think, at that time so far back in history, that anyone could have expected for any one person or group of people to be able to impact the whole globe with their evil?
Absolutely. I'm not religious (yet), but the Bible (for me) stands as a future warning against past humanity- it was known it was possible (and furthermore likely given the nature of man was known), the consequences deemed serious enough to issue warnings and guides in every religious book.
The bible also tells us to help the weak and innocent. Can't think of better way to help then to permanently eliminate a chronically evil one's ability to do more harm to others. May justice be served for the good of mankind.
