Surprisingly, someone I know who has been a COVID lockdown pusher (e.g., putting out messages like "stay home, save lives"), posted this to their social media. Perhaps he is beginning to wake up.
Yup. My brother says there are immunocompromised people who can't receive the vaccine effectively so they are going to die as covid keeps spreading around because of "people like me." He has been a virtue signaler since we were children.
I've seen that argument recently as well. They're using it as justification to keep the un-vaxxed out of events. So that the very few immunocompromised people have the opportunity to attend, if they so please.
Reminiscent of the trans argument really, all these things being pushed for a very small percentage of the population. Supposedly, anyways. Reality: pushing the progressive agenda.
See here, bunch of "normies" pushing the vaccine and stating that they're willing to openly discriminate against the un-vaxxed:
And when you politely mention to him that asymptomatic people DON'T spread the virus....he immediately sends you a link to a slate dot com fact check article and says argument over. At least that's what happens to me when I do it!
Um, yeah. How about just quarantining THOSE people to protect them? That's what RATIONAL people do to avoid exposure to something dangerous or distasteful and it's what the response to the coof should have been from Day 1. Hindsight is 20-20 but, my doing something detrimental to myself and others when there's a logical, more narrowly-tailored solution that's equally (or more) effective is ludicrous.
In Mr. Spock's words of wisdom, "the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few". It truly is pathetic how we've allowed, nay, ADVOCATED for, the tail - which doesn't even have a brain - to wag the dog in so many aspects of life and society.

And dont forget, "too protect others". They are soooo very virtuous.

It's a sign of a very unhealthy society when it tries to make accommodations for very small minorities of people.

Yeah, my wife is one. Can't stand them. Ugh
What about the ding dongs who DID get sick and then rushed out to get the shot anyway?
That's an extra level of stupid.
Yeah, they are slavishly upping their mask nonsense.
Ditto here, although she decided to get the shot, even though she's obviously immune!
