It is a interesting article. I remember when it came out, I got excited. The article lays the pretext using the coronavirus and a scenario where the government officials become disabled and establishes a "continuity of government". I'm sure the same rules apply if an insurrection occurs and most of our government are arrested for treason.

What I find disturbing about a scenario like this, is that it would require a lot of resources to undertake and thus, I think it's less likely that to will happen (as in "Military is the only way").
Military being "the only way" really leaves a lot of gaps in the nation's defenses and you have China ready to rumble, forming alliances with America's enemies. See : [https://www.newsweek.com/china-media-says-us-will-defeated-boasts-army-can-overwhelm-american-troops-1591084?utm_source=spotim&utm_medium=spotim_recirculation](China says Russia + China Army will overwhelm US Troops)
Whilst this is unlikely to be the alliance to do it, it still is not a good issue to have.
Military intervention could make the whole country rather weak. Not just because of the resources it'd suck up, but the fact that we have so many leftist plants in positions of power that would actively sabotage things.
The military's energy has been syphoned off in the last 10-15 years through various means (a lot via Obama). It's not a well oiled machine anymore with a well managed, shared position. Insane policies have eroded a lot of that.
My concern still remains that a military intervention would kick off the Soros Civil War, the left would exploit that even if "Military" is in power on a federal level, which would make defenses weak on international fronts. It's a lot of fingers in a lot of pies and we don't have the same collective energy for a united (but flawed) military that we did in the Bush Wars era.
President Trump beefed up the military when he was in office and added the space force. Russia would be a US ally if China decided to do something stupid. Remember China has been stealing our technology, they are to stupid to innovate new technologies on their own. They do not have any military advantage over the US. The only thing they have going for them is the troop numbers and the American patriots would be waiting for them if they tried something stupid like a ground invasion. I heard one of China's satellites just fell back to Earth recently, I'm guessing our military was responsible and would have weakened the Chinese capabilities.
Take a gander at this: https://qalerts.app/?q=%23%2338
EXACTLY. Assuming (or postulating) that the Military Planning didn't consider this point, is... well, dumb. Sorry @magaprincess, nothing personal.
I disagree... we have nukes... lots and lots of them. Some of them are hidden in the oceans and under the icecaps.
Hey Chyna: Make my fucking day. Gahead.
It's highly likely that China does too, along with their proxy states.
