This is what I never understood. I did a year abroad study in Moorhead 10 years ago and Minnesota was full of Bible thumping Christians. I had to do Bible study on a Monday and daily prayers and hillsong concerts on a friday evening.
They weren't rabid SJW nutters. They were God-fearing patriots.
So when I see all the Mineapolis business and far left antifa stuff there it hurts my brain cos that is NOT what I experience during my 12 months in those parts. But maybe it changed over the intervening period...
Minnesota is deep red everywhere except Minneapolis and Saint Paul. I live in Rochester, it's very red down here, except blue in the heart of the city.
Heart of Duluth is blue too, and probably Mankato and Winona, as those are all college cities, but the neighborhoods are heavily red. There's no way MN is full-out blue.
