Yeah, I don't trust this guy. He battled Robert Gallo (the "father" of AIDS) over credit for the discovery of the HLTV-III retrovirus and rights to the patents. President Ronald Reagan & French Prime Minister Jacques Chirac intervened to reach an agreement that resulted in the sharing of the proceeds and the credit for the discovery.

Seems to me it was all a quarrel by scoundrels over the spoils of fraud.
