This wasn't scary enough, so they came up with Covid.

Deplorable Climate blog.
He has a post with newspaper articles from the last 100 years detailing climate alarmism. Todays wack jobs arent a new phenomenon. When I grew up in the early 70s they tried to scare us with the new ice age. In this post you can almost pinpoint an exact date in 1983 when the narrative shifted to global warming.
The problem with weather related narratives is they suck on the teet of recency bias. People quickly forget the big blizzard of '74 and think the ten inches they recieved last night is an outlier and portends doom. The Weather Channel doesnt help by naming every little winter storm like it is armageddon.
Just today someone here was talking about the freeze Friday in Michigan and Wisconsin and oh my they even had snowflakes in Central Wisconsin. This is not an unusual event. The average last frost for Detroit is May 2nd and 1 in 10 years has frost near Memorial weekend. Detroits latest snowstorm was 5 inches on May 23rd. And at the same latitude in Michigan that the poster is in in central Wisconsin has an average last frost of May 30th. That means they often get frost into June.
Climate change only frightens the stupid who take anyones word as truth and never do their own research. It is the biggest and one of the oldest scams on earth. Climate alarmism truly is a religion like the poster above has so eloquently described.
Should have read further. Gillis has the blog link I was refering to.
The worst part is, sis is a Q follower so it’s odd that she can’t break out of the climate change programming. I guess they did a number on here in our schools....
Try telling her that climate change has been ongoing and inexorable since the beginning of time. Our presence has nothing to do with the earth and the suns natural cycles and believing it does is nothing but arrogance.
