This format is interesting. I love the idea of separating out actual events from events as reported by the news, interspersed with possible comms.
The reason there used to be gloom on the forums is there were habbenings going on but not being reported as such. Folks we can't expect Rachel Maddow to be breaking down constantly on the air, just yet...
Finding out the real dates for some of these was a royal pain. The date events become "news" can be wildly different from when they actually started. I didn't realize that the Israel/ Gaza fighting began on the same day as the Colonial Pipeline hack. It's clear to me the news decided when each would be reported on.
