How is this okay? Its literally discrimination... Im very distraught and dont know if there is anything that can be done about them treating people like this...

That's weird. In the past 3 days, I've been to Walmart, Home Depot, Lowes, HEB, Kroger, Sam's Club and other stores... and haven't worn a mask a single time. In fact, half the people in the stores are no longer wearing masks, including employees.
Most of the restaurants around Houston no longer require masks either.
Texas has ZERO covid-19 fatalities for the last 2 months. Our hospitals and clinics are empty... and NOBODY is getting sick. This is with more than 1/2 the people no longer wearing masks. :>)
I wish other states would stop making their own citizens sick.
It depends on where you live. Denver isn't very friendly to people that don't want to wear a mask.
Sad. Colorado Springs doesn't seem to care. Gone all places maskless.
Crazy how a few miles makes such a difference. They won't say anything if I'm pumping gas but I never get more than a few steps in the door before the say something. I did go to king soopers without a mask less than a week ago and they didn't say anything. That was the first time though. I need to stop supporting that damn place.
Longmont/Loveland are also going fairly maskless. You still see masks, but you see a lot of unmasked and I don't get hassled.
Cool. I'll put Denver on my places to visit before the plandemic is over.
Denver's gone shit hole. Looks like LA homeless camps. Don't support Denver with your cash.
I agree, im only in the city for work. Its insane how fast its gone down hill. The amount of litter you see that was never here before is disgusting. I used to live in evergreen and they even had problems with the homeless living in the woods then taking their whole family to the rec center and locking themselves in the showers for hours at a time. It got to the point where locals couldn't even use the facility. Jeffco would take them down the hill but they would be back the same day.
Can you give me a good list of non chain restaurants that do not require masks to walk in and order in Houston?
There are a LOT of restaurants in Houston that don't require masks anymore.
Lost Cajun is one I was at on Monday. No mask req'd. Texas Roadhouse doesn't require masks. Italiano's doesn't require masks.
Iguana Joe's doesn't require masks.
Charley's Cheesesteak & Wings doesn't require masks.
If you have any concerns... just call the restaurant and ask if masks are required. Most will tell you that they are encouraged or optional... but I only know a few restaurants that still require them anymore.
Was Lost Cajun any good? I've seen them pop up all over TX but haven't been yet.
Lost Cajun is definitely Cajun food. Nothing fake about it.
If you're in NE Houston, I do recommend them.
I actually like another Cajun restaurant as well... Cafe Rayne. The chef is from New Orleans and family relocated after Katrina.
Italianos is so good.
Check these guys out!
