Something I noticed when beginning work is that generally the higher up the food chain you are the less they cared about syntax and proper grammar. I always assumed its cos they're so busy and have so many emails to write that they basically do speed runs when responding.
I remember one time at Law school I sent my professor a detailed email about something or another, using all the respectful phrases and citing as much info as I could, then the only reply I got back was "ok -sent from iPhone".
Exactly. Depending on who I comm with. I may not touch the shift button. I use little grammar when texting and only proof to make sure the message gets a cross. If it has multiple addressees I am a bit more formal as it's more a public than private forum.

My old boss did this and it drove me nuts! I’d have a great idea on how to improve something and all I get is “k”
K is the most infuriating response.
Like an 8 year old girl would respond
Behind power.
