Originally I had thought it was because of the cold winter you face the north wind lol.
We do a lot of facebook rummage sale and facebook is a great way to pass around kids clothes when they've outgrown them we got a northface coat for my grandbaby it was alright but I wouldn't call it extraordinary, definitely not worth the hype.
Oh man I had this idea a while ago. Why do we have to pay a premium for brand items only to become a walking advertisement for them? If anything we should get a discount for wearing the branded stuff!
Not that popular, it's a point of contention in a lot of car forums and the general consensus is that it's mostly people trying to hide that they have the slow version of the car since those with the performance trims pretty much never de-badge.
Lol I've always thought North Face was kind of pretentious. I see a few people wear them here in ND, but most wear Carhartt or Columbia coats.
Lmao

The north face is the side of the mountain with the worst weather, this is the real story. But I like the smug explanation too.
Herr Hunter (Jäger) is correct. In both senses. I enjoyed Rooftoptendie's explanation as well. This is the "Seattle Nice" crap I detest.
Doesn't look like Northface logo's can be removed. I don't like buying anything I can't remove the brand label from. I'm not a walking billboard.

By discount you mean free. If they don't offer an unbranded version you don't have anything to base the price on.
You remove all of the labeling from your vehicles too?
It's called debadging and very popular. Open your eyes.

Open my eyes? I literally don’t have a badge on my own car. Why are you so vaguely accusatory?
The car dealers lables
Sure, why not?
I don't mind with Columbia coats they really are that warm.
Yep, where I live it’s all Patagonia now.
Dang I wouldn't trust those coats in a North Dakota winter, not even a mild one.
Well they’re designed for PNW winters, not Midwest winters. There a different markets you know?
Oh lol well we get a few idiots wearing them here and they claim they're warm they don't look it.
