This ^ (truth). This thread has been in a sense painful to read. The Bible has been around before Catholicism existed, it is true that the Council of Nicaea finally assembled the Bible in 300~ad, however copies of each book were floating around long before then. The copies of what is in the current Bible were chosen based on numbers of copies along with accuracy. Accuracy determined by copies having exact same wording, looking for handwriting and changes made afterwards, all to say if it makes the cut into the Bible, and the numbers are overwhelming in that the Bible today (available nearly anywhere) is the actual correct books of the Bible God intended us to have. The reformation in the 1500’s was a turn away from Catholicism and a turning to the scriptures. The reformers wanted each of us to have the Bible in our own language so we could make up our own minds and have discussions about the Bible, the Catholic Church vying for power did not want that to happen, similar to the cabal not wanting people to do there own research. To close, the NT is full of references to our freedom in Christ’s sacrifice, and our slavery to sin, which Satan wishes us all to be slaves to sin. Therefore, be free in Christ, do those things which are good for you. Another final point, you (OP) are confusing the covenant of works with the covenant of grace. Works=enslaved to the law due to its legal demands. Grace=God’s Riches At Christ’s Expense, Christ paid the demands to set us free. If the Son shall set you free, you shall be free indeed!
You do know the Catholic church isn't the only Christian church right? When I read the Book of Job initially, it wasn't from a Catholic bible.

The Bible New Testament is from Catholics. You need to learn about where the Bible came from.
What? Where did you even get this from?
