Supreme Court: Illegal Immigrants INELIGIBLE To Become Permanent Residents!
In a UNANIMOUS Supreme Court ruling, SCOTUS has determined that thousands of people currently living in the U.S. for humanitarian reasons are INELIGIBLE to apply for permanent residency.
The court found that federal immigration law prohibits people who entered the country illegally from seeking green cards to stay in the U.S. permanently.
The case pitted the Biden administration against groups who argued that illegal immigrants could put down permanent roots in the U.S if they had been given 'humanitarian protections'. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• ❓Tired of mainstream reporting? Join our Channel? t.me/Maxx1News
Benefitting from someone else's criminal act is itself criminal, right?
Like if my father swindled millions of dollars and put 15% of his ill gotten gains into a trust for me, I should be criminally charged (or forced to give it back).
Forced to give it back (or go back in this situation).
.. And don't get me wrong. Should there be a path to citizenship for a person who got brought here illegally as a 2yr old child? Sure. Absolutely. Should it be through DACA? No. It should be the same as everyone else. Let them leave and reenter. Don't punish them for the time they were here (that's not their fault) but don't make it any easier to become a citizen either.
Using my first example, I may have to give my trust fund back to the victims of my father's pyramid scheme, but I can still set up a legal trust fund!
