I just sat through a graduation where 800 young adults sat in the middle of a football field with their faces covered in a mask. They even had individual pictures taken with the mask on. It was really hard to not be angry on their behalf.
Fucking school boards need a wholesale change in virtually every district
Absolutely— I was forced ( encouraged heavily by spouse and county judge ) to run for a small district in very remote west Texas— I won and was crucial in hiring decent staff ( teachers etc) and although it requires at lot of time and educational certificates- you need to do it — turned this district around in the 80’s and still successful today
Good work!
It would be nice if grandmas and grandpas ran the school board. Ones that have been alive since the great depression. Im willing to bet we wouldn't have near the problems we have now with these inept school boards.
Old school rules. We are your only connection to that past which was much nicer than today. But, alas we were told our ideas and love for the old days was ignorant.
My Boy Scout troop leader was a salty old Marine Corpsman who was at Iwo Jima. He could smoke us all on a hike. He didn't take no shit and taught us all great skills, including shooting guns and basic first aid.
I'm really grateful I was able to learn from someone who fought WWII. He was the ultimate definition of Old School and we need that back in our lives and schools.
The whole problem with school boards is that we allow women to serve on them.
Anyone who saw the video of the school board meeting about masks a few months back knows exactly what I am talking about. (The one where the teacher hyperventilated).
In my district 75% of the voters in school board elections are women. The teachers Union mobilizes the libtard chicks.
Men need to step up and vote in these local elections.
If Patriots really are in control, I pray one of their first moves after this shakes out is that allow the money to follow the child so more students have the option of private school.
That would end a lot of this ridiculousness real quick.
Men should redirect their funding towards a school system where only men have a vote in who is on a school board, and only men are allowed to serve on such a board. If that is not the situation, then they shouldn't even be funding it.
"Step up and vote" isn't enough to fix the problem at this point. It's time to put our money where our mouth is.
Heartily agree with you about the school choice money.
“Red pilled people need to step up” - fixed it for you
Ummm.... that’s an odd division. And a false dichotomy. I think you mean “liberals”
Why the fuck is anybody in this forum suggesting the exclusion of women or anybody from serving in a political role. Sounds like a plant to make us look like morons. We are not Saudi Arabia (who is doing much better these days anyway). I love my conservative wife and she'd be great on our school board. We just need to run good candidates, get off our ass to vote, and stay engaged and involved.
As long as you think "women in politics" has been a successful experiment, even though it has always historically led to the collapse of societies, then there is no hope for your future anyway regardless of whether you get off your ass and vote.
The rule of women is the curse of God.
I haven’t worn a mask in Texas since March 10 th and rarely did before- I’m over 65 and will never be vaccinated - never had a flu shot either—I’ve survived so many illnesses in my life - if a low mortality virus or flu wants to take me down —whatever- already had mumps, red measles, chicken pox and whooping cough (pertussis ) and lived and worked around Mexican nationals with active tuberculosis and Swine Flu in 2009(was very painful but survived)- it’s never been the cold —
Your immune system has been well exercised!
Thank you for your service, we need more men and women like you that are cut from the same cloth.
I just sat through my daughters in north Georgia, 600 seniors, outside in the stadium, no masks, parents in the stands, no masks. It was good.
That's beautiful ? We were lucky they allowed the parents to take the mask off. But not really, they just said we won't harass you. Implying that we should wear them but they're not going to enforce it.
My med school graduation was an absolute joke. Masks with the name of the school and affiliated hospital like you were a part of their brands, one quick photo and the rest was streamed.
All that hard work and you can't even show your face for it. So awful.
