I’m doing this from memory so some details are fuzzy. But I launched missiles from Vandenberg AFB as a young engineer. Our payload team at some point went to support the launch of one of our(?) satellites upon a Chinese missile. They had a wild story of having to ride water buffalo(?) to the launch site, where people were still digging out the flame bucket when they got there.
I’m not sure if it was that launch or another later one, but a launch failed and our engineers helped the Chinese figure out what went wrong and basically transferred our hard-won knowledge about how to get satellites safely into orbit. I remember all of us were outraged that Clinton let that happen!
Yep, I have not had a typical career path for an electrical/software engineer! Worked at casino while they were building a tower which has one crooked leg. (I would not go up in that tower until just a few years ago as the casino buyer would come in to our office and complain how he didn’t have money to buy TP or anything because all money was going into the tower!) I was hired because the self-taught programmer walked off with half of the source code in a bid to get paid big money as a consultant. The owner called his bluff and hired me and others instead. I would come out of work at night and see Elvis regularly as well as Penn and Teller (before they got famous.)
Awesome!! I’ve got a few as well. I told you about my Mom in equestrian sphere. My career was aviation; been all over world. Blah blah. It was fun, now retired on a TVA lake & rebuilding a bass boat my dream. Goin PHISHin...
Alex Jones has some good rants about this somewhere . Clinton's were meeting generals and shit at a restaurant across from the Whitehouse if I remember correctly and giving packages
I think it’s worth a dig, not by me, I don’t posses those skills. But who/how was the missile tech delivered to the chi-coms back then?

Interesting story. Perhaps more happened afterwards in the way of physical tech being delivered as well...
Reminds me of the guy who sold us out and gave the Russians a ton of information on submarine tech. Smh
