My neighbor called at 0315 hours in a panic. Said her daughter was coming to visit and "all flights are grounded!". She's the retired widowed gal living on next farm over from me and spends lots of time visiting me. Anyway, I got on computer and figured out that SouthWest has big problems. Their story is "network connection difficulties". But, I'm thinking this is a takedown of them, and bits and pieces will be released over next few days. My conspiracy and chicanery antenna is up!

Let's pray her daughter will be okay.
My brother got delayed out of Texas, missed his connecting flight, got stuck for hours waiting for another flight when all of this happened. Will be interesting to know what really happened.
Texas is under DS attacks no doubt.
The winter storm was the beginning of it all that. They are now creating the narrative that our power grid is crap, and we are now expecting forced blackouts in the very near future because of the "heat wave". For fuck's sake, we haven't even hit 100 yet, and that just another normal Texas summer day. We've had ZERO issues with power until this last winter. They continue to mess with our natural gas and coal plants. I'm pretty sure it's the DS forcing their green new deal on us.
Southwest is a TX based company, and is one of the widely used ones here in the state. No surprise here, as AA and the other large companies are still hurting in this state because Southwest is cheaper, and has more frequent flights.
They are also trying REAL hard to put all the blame on Abbot and Paxton. We know they are RINOs, but until we have a much better option to replace them with, then I'll take them over beto and matthew mcconaughey any day of the week.
Any other fellow Texans in here, get yourself a generator before it's too late. I can almost guarantee that they will turn the power off on us this summer.
Unfortunately a down computer system does in fact stop the airline from functioning. Too many moving parts of the airline depend on it, from dispatch to flight following to weight and balance.
Based on what?
