Both of those verses refer to Jesus, who is indeed the bright and morning star as well as the light of the world.
The confusion here stems from an improper translation of Isaiah 14:12 from Hebrew, which it was originally written in, to Latin.
How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
The word "Lucifer" is a Latin word that essentially means to shine brightly and was used by Latin speakers to refer to the morning star, otherwise known as the planet Venus, due to how bright it is in the sky. Because of this, Satan, whose attitude and motivation are spoken of in much of Isaiah 14, is erroneously associated with the phrase "morning star."
However, this is not the case in the original Hebrew text. The word used is "helel" which means "shining one" and stems from the root word "halal" which means literally to shine and metaphorically to be boastful, which is fitting considering that Satan was a bright and beautiful angel prior to becoming prideful and falling (Ezekiel 28:12-19).
Incidentally, if you read Isaiah 14, it's clear that the individual that is described and compared to the wicked king of Babylon is not Jesus.
explain this to them, i'm not the one who says "lightbringer is bad"
With respect, the problem is that your comments imply that you're conflating Jesus and Satan, even if that wasn't your intention. While "Lucifer" is an improper translation, it is nevertheless considered by many to have been the name of Satan prior to his fall due to its usage in the Latin, and subsequently, English, translations of Isaiah 14:12, as I previously explained.
and yeah, here, some good reading for you
Just skimmed the article. Right off the bat, it claims that Satan is just a myth derived from Mesopotamian mythology, whereas the Word of God clearly states the opposite.
Oh, I'm pretty sure there handshake.
Yeah, ZERO posts and only comments that mock. You are forever a handshake.
I doubt anyone who mocks the name of JESUS as their handle actually reads the Bible. Because if they did, they would know that Satan is in one of the oldest books, Job. So, nice try.
It doesn't matter that you can quote a few Scripture, even Satan can do that. Look at the second temptation of Jesus in the desert. But just like Satan, you take the Scripture out of context. And from your other posts, you seem to do so KNOWINGLY.
Well, if you are really reading any Q drops, you know what happens to people who knowingly do the wrong thing. One day, maybe soon, you'll meet the One True God, Our Creator, LORD JESUS CHRIST. I suggest you really read His Word, and repent, before it's too late.
Or just like your comment, you will be deleted, and no one will remember what you said but God's Word will still reign Supreme.
Nope.
Wrong.
My sauce? The Bible.
Lucifer was NEVER synonymous with God.
the Bible, are you sure? if you'd read the bible you would know it's vice versa
try Revelation 22:16, John 12:46, for starters

That's pretty rich coming from someone that has dragon energy in their name which is literally a reference to the power of Satan and the beast.
Ad hominem attack. Thank you. Check mate.
