Nonsense. You will not 'save' the planet by not eating meat. There are so many holes in that argument!
How are you gonna feritilse the soil? With chemicals made in a factory? Noice.
Most meat animals are grazed on hilly, marginal land. You cannot even begin to grow grains or vegetables on that land. You can't even get a tractor on there, without it tipping over. Some people run goats on savannah, that will never support large scale agribusiness.
BTW. Going after meat farmers is big agri-business trying to force small farmers off their land.
If everyone becomes vegetarian, we will have a malnutrition crisis, because there is not enough land in the world to grow veg, grains and legumes for everyone.
Also people have different needs.
Re intolerance: I have an intolerance to grains, legumes, root vegetables and sugars, so can't tolerate milk and cheese, but can tolerate cream and butter.
these developed over the years, starting with wheat. BTW, I was a Vegan in my twenties, and that was part of the problem. I became sensitised by the sprays and chemicals applied to food. I tried to eat strictly organic to overcome that, but the allergies progressed happily.
Meat is the only thing I can eat safely now.
Have you gone full carnivore diet?
yes. Meat and salt.
On full meat diet for 6 months..game changer. This is how we should all eat.
How hard was the initial transition??
First month was pretty rough..had tons of water and broth to help stay hydrated. I'll assume it's the same as going keto (had.never done keto before ) Probably took around 3 months until I was settled into a good routine of what I eat and energy levels were back up to snuff. I eat 2 meals a day now and feel great.
