I worked on a sail yacht one time, and the stovetop was gimbled so that when the yacht rolled, the stovetop would stay level. It also had sea rails to keep pots and pans from sliding off.
A gimble is a mount that allows movement in multiple directions. For example, the compass on a sailboat is mounted that way so that it will stay level all the time and point the way properly.
One word: gimbles.

I don’t think I’ve ever heard that term before but I think I’m going to try to use it in place of the word balanced just cuz it sounds funny.
John really has it together, man. He’s totally gimbled.

Yeah haha. I searched it up. But I love using words out of context.
bullshit, we all know the yacht isn't the one rolling around, the ocean is.
Go watch a sailboat roll until the mast almost touches the water.
It’s the other way around… the ocean is rolling, so it’s the ocean that rolls and touches the mast.
If I were to watch the sail boat from a distance, logically I’m the one rolling while you are stationary.
Btw…. just messing with you fren, if you can’t tell! :)
I have Asperger's, so it's hard for me to spot things sometimes.
