Should keep the "watch only the audit" guys happy.
Thank you all that made it happen. Thank you very much!
"And so, the Arizona Audit is now complete; only THIS time, Patriots are the masters..."
Now they need to make the presentation bulletproof. They are probably locked away in a room brainstorming on ways people will attack the results and coming up with ways to defend methods.
They are still lacking the routers in spite of subpoena. The BOS are fighting all the way, Expect Brnovich to weigh in and some legal wrangling before the cyber part is done.
"It's the canvas, not the count"
I would bet the number crunching was done long ago. As you go along you get categories of problems. You make the categories then, and you add to the numbers as you go. The final tallies will be most of the report.
The evidence of each category will also be included, but that could be done as soon as each category is defined. I have no doubt that the complete final report will include evidence of every single ballot, but again, most of that is done as you go along, not at the end.
I think if its done, its done. No real post processing necessary.
At least that's how I would do it. I have been involved in similar endeavors (not for ballot auditing obviously, but reports of analyses of large measured datasets). You do the work as you go along. By the time you are finished with measurements, all the hard work has already been done and its just plugging in the final numbers.
In that case... It's not done.
Perhaps what I should have said is, if the measurements (data collecting) are done, its done.
