It's a role. If he was seen as a Trump loyalist Biden would replace him. We need him exactly where he is. If that means he has to play along with the leftists he will. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer. Classic art of war tactic
Exactly. Controlled opposition. What do you think the left will do when Biden is removed by the military? Shouldn’t they start getting cozy? Makes sense to me, but a lot of people are waay too dim to start thinking 5D chess moves.
They simply need to remain neutral, non partisan. It’s not about Trump, it’s about maintain order while the election is sorted out. By the time Biden gets the noose the human goldfish won’t even remember what to be angry about.
Dunno I always think about the comment Trump made about saving a young lady saying someday soon he’ll tell you about it. That was a long time ago. But makes me think Milley might be acting.
When/If the Military steps in, I don’t think appearances are going to matter. Although I believe the vast majority of voters voted for Trump, you’re still going to have a percentage of morons who will think it’s a military coup taking out their resident in chief, Biden
If General Milley was a completely good guy would we still have troops in Afghanistan? He is an old school military officer who only measures his worth through old style, kinetic war. Even though our and his Commander in Chief wanted us out of Afghanistan that didn’t happen. Instead, those orders were slow walked to avoid executing them.
This can be confusing because we keep hearing the military is in charge. It’s realistic to ask how can that be if Milley isn’t 100% behind MAGA. Is the answer in the fact that he is old school? That irregular warfare is not his strong point and quite possibly the irregular war fighting team had their own chain of command reporting up to the Commander in Chief?
I don't think Trump would have nominated/installed a bad guy as CJCS, knowing Milley's tour would take him past the 2020 election and into our current situation. This is just one more thing we'll have to watch to see how it plays out.
Dont think so I believe he has always been a thorn in Trumps side.

I was considering this scenario myself.
Biden would sack him in a heartbeat if Milley showed any wavering on the leftist shit.
Me too...pretty sure we're watching a show. As such, he's doing a great job in his role! ?
I agree. Who knew a career MIL man would be such a great actor
Nope, he’s woke.
Then he must go broke!

I’m hoping he’s caught, and “under submission “ by the patriots, and part of the movie.

So now rage is colored too? So I can only feel brown rage? Damn, this sucks.

Can't get that image out of my head of him nodding affirmatively to biden so often at the SOU. Nothing less than bad form.
We have the best actors, don't we folks?
Appear weak when you are strong.
