We are at that part in The Lord of the Rings when Gandalf has fallen to the Balrog, the Fellowship is breaking, and all hope seems to be lost as we wander like Frodo and Sam alone through the wilderness into the heart of darkness.
As Tolkien once wrote long ago:
“I wish it need not have happened in my time,” said Frodo. “So do I,” said Gandalf, “and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.”
As Gandalf returned to the Fellowship, so too shall President Trump return to America. And like Gandalf, he will return greater and more powerful than ever before.
For now we must set ourselves to finding our inner strength and doing what must be done with the time we have.
Election on Aug. 3rd in Ohio to fill Stivers-the-quitter's seat. I met Mike, I like him, I hope he wins. He has a background in coal and energy. I see why Trump endorsed him, he needs energy people in Congress to fight the Green New Deal on every front.
Our fight has only just begun........
I miss him too.

There is another election coming before 2022, at least that's what I got out of it.

IIRC he said (I'm paraphrasing) "We won the first election, we won the second election, and we may have to win a third election soon"
