RNA receives information from your DNA strands to then create all sorts of proteins and amino acids that are needing in our bodies for them to function. Think of it like a nice and orderly kitchen that only needs specific instructions and can spit out all sorts of proteins and amino acids. This new vaccine just gives the "kitchen" a new set of precise instructions to produce a protein that then works with the body's immune system to reproduce itself more and tell the immune system how to detect then fight the virus that causes covid-19 if and when the virus enters one's body. So the vaccine isn't altering any DNA or RNA in anyone's body, just using the RNA to help prepare the immune system to more easily fight covid-19.
I would like to know more, could you walkthrough/explain?
I think the term ‘altering DNA’ is an oversimplification, but it’s worth digging deeper and understanding actually happens in the sequence.
This stuff is beyond me, I’ve not had the time to study this. Folks on this board could use sole info starters imo.
