Bill Cosby's son was murdered by a stranger while changing a tire on Interstate 405 in Los Angeles.
His daughter died at 44, possibly from Renal failure while awaiting a transplant.
He was extorted by a woman who he had had an affair with, claiming that her daughter was Cosby's. Cosby provided a blood sample, but the DNA test was somehow never done.
It sounds to me like they have been after Cosby for some reason.
Not defending the man (didn’t follow his case that closely so don’t know) but he was very outspoken on the problems in the black community. He didn’t blame their problems on a systemic boogeyman, he had a get an education, stay out of trouble, and stay married approach to trying to fix problems in the black community. If it wasn’t for the rapist thing, I think most of what he would give lectures on would resonate with the anti-woke. I’d put him in the same category as Charles Barkley, but more academic.
Knowing what we know now, I wouldn’t be surprised if the left targeted him for takeout. Most of what he said didn’t fit with the leftist narrative of systemic racism.
Two witnesses stated that the accuser talked about framing someone famous for settlement/blackmail. The judge limited how much of that was allowed to be known by the jury, if I recall correctly.

I don't think he's entirely innocent, there was a comment from an fren here that they knew of a victim of his. So it could have been inflated to sink him (when we've seen others walk). If that was the case, I should think he'd have every reason to flip to white.

She said that, during dinner, Bill brought up one inappropriate topic after the other, i.e., wife-swapping and other sex practices. Richard was giving her the side-eye whenever Bill looked away. After dinner, she said, Bill whispered something indiscernible in his wife's ear, then told her to go to bed. She wandered off aimlessly, as if in a trance. Once she had left the room, Bill started talking about drugging women and raping them.
Richard cut the evening short, and the Pryors left. On the way home, he told his wife that that was the most messed up thing he'd ever heard, and vowed to never step foot inside the Cosby residence again. And he didn't.
I've said it before and I'll say it again Pennsylvania is corrupt to the core. Starting at school board all the way up. I lived in PA for 25 years and almost my entire family lives there including the 4 that are lawyers. Its all about who know and if you have money. Nothing else matters.
Oh I know man, I lived in NE PA. I did have family in jersey & NYC but they moved back to PA eventually. Ive spent a lot of time in all 3 states for work and visiting friends & family. Unfortunately I always got stuck working on and off in shitty places like the devils stadium.

Is he guilty? IMO, he may have some skeletons in the closet, who doesn't? Is he that bad? Dunno. But, his message was a good one and the DS/Hollywood didn't like it, and we know they didn't start getting rid of people just recently.

Apparently an agreement with the previous prosecutor prevented him from being charged in the case.
