In some forums, the former is more central. I've been on a few of those, including GA Reddit, and a few of the Voat boards. But at this point, my sense is that, by far, GAW best and most productive role is the latter: sharing of valuable and effective info.
Not to say that the former isn't active, but in terms of volume, I think the latter ekes out a higher percentage.
Which is a very convoluted way of saying, dude, you deserve all the karma points you gettin, on account of the brilliance of bringing this memola to our house of anons here.
